We build every piece to last well beyond the return window — but if something isn't right, here's exactly how we handle it.

Ready-to-ship shelves

Floating shelves ordered in one of our standard sizing options are treated as in-stock, ready-to-ship items. These are eligible for return within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, less any applicable restocking fee.

Eligibility

• Unused and in the same condition it was delivered in
• In its original packaging, or packaging offering equivalent protection
• Returned with proof of purchase (order number or receipt)

Restocking fee

Longer shelves take more material, more shop time, and more care to freight — so a restocking fee applies to larger returned pieces:

The restocking fee is deducted from your refund; the remainder is issued to your original payment method.

Cancellations

Custom orders may be canceled for a full refund only if production has not yet begun. Once fabrication starts, cancellations may be subject to a partial refund reflecting materials and labor already committed.

How to start a return

1. Email arbor@arborblack.com with your order number and reason for return.
2. We'll confirm eligibility and send return instructions, including a shipping label if applicable.
3. Once your item is received and inspected, we'll process your refund within 5–10 business days.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to a defect or an error on our part.

Damaged or defective items

If your piece arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and its packaging. We'll cover return shipping and provide a full refund or replacement at no cost to you.
